4 Events You Won’t Want to Miss!
You’ve been to Mayday for the beer. You’ve been to Mayday for the taproom fun. Heck, you’ve even been to Mayday for the yoga. But did you also know we will be hosting a drag show and Disney Party this summer? Well, you do now! At Mayday, we’ve always been about way more than just beer, and we’re throwing four “can’t miss” extravaganzas this season. 1. School’s Out for Summer Bash — Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 @ 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
The day you thought would never arrive is finally here! We want to help kick off everyone’s summer vacation in the most fun way imaginable by serving 2-4-1’s all day long! Come help us celebrate educators, teachers, and faculty of all levels by throwing them a party! We’ll have rocking music to keep you entertained, an array of food to keep you nourished as you “quench” your thirst throughout the day, and a selection of beer on hand that numbers some of your class sizes! 😉 It’s time to say goodbye to academia and nosedive straight into a summer of relaxation.
2. Drag & Brews Show Murfreesboro — Saturday, June 15, 2019 @ 8:30 p.m.
Nothing goes better with beer than a parade of men and women in drag! Come by for a fun-filled night of sassy Dolls and Guys. Hosted by drag legend and Murfreesboro hero Veronica Paige, this drag show will be unlike anything you’ve seen in the past. Tickets are just $15 dollars. 3. Disney Character Day — Saturday, July 13th, 2019 @ 1:00 p.m. — 10 p.m.
For the second year, we’re throwing a very special, nostalgic, and family-friendly Disney Character Day! Sprinkle some pixie dust on your favorite costume, and come in for a day that is sure to be a highlight of your summer. We’ll have a Disney trivia, as well as costume contests for adults and kids alike! Gorge on cotton candy and popcorn, enjoy face painting and other activities. Phew, that’ll be sure to test your endurance. Just remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint, so pace yourself.
4. Documentary of Mayday — Saturday, July 20th, 2019
Join us on Saturday, July 20th for a special one-time-only documentary of Mayday! CoopertheBand will play and there will be a team filming for a documentary-style show. We’ll start the live music at 5:00 with a Joey Fletcher Blues Jam and Coopertheband will play at 7:30.
